Happy Birthday Virgo Shaka

My childhood friend and classmate sent me this action figure after I messaged him while watching the original Saint Seiya anime. I remember he would do the exaggerated poses for Cygnus Hyoga, one of the bronze saints of the series, during our breaks either between classes or lunch. We were in second grade. The year was 1987.

He kept this action figure for 38 years and decided that I should keep it. I received him the day before and carefully put the armor on him after finding the instructions online. Shaka is so fragile. I was so afraid I'd break something. He's now posing under the statue of Athena next to the "Pope's Room" of Sanctuary.

And incidentally, it's Shaka's birthday today. If we're counting from 1985 when the series first started, he was 20 years old then. He would've been 60 years old today.

Happy birthday, old man! Shaka and I share the same zodiac sign. I will treasure this forever.
